Grey Area

Only two more days and it's February. January was crazy, busy, and super productive. I'm so happy with what I'm doing in life right now. I keep coming back to this Oprah quote when I think about my goals for the next month and for the rest of 2015; Oprah says, "You get out of life what you have the courage to ask for". Moving forward I'm going to act with that in mind. Don't ever be afraid to ask for what you really want and don't ever apologize for going after it, no grey area.

Teddy in Teal

Shooting these pictures I felt like a bonafide Pink Lady. I was feeling my bad self, like I was Rizzo. I love pairing leather with something softer like this Teddy. Not going to lie that's a short night gown that I tucked in to the high waisted ASOS jeans, I'm all about using pieces differently. I need to shout out ASOS for a second because they just recently added different lengths to there jeans. I'm SO happy!! Power to my other 34" inch inseam ladies

Boohoo Black

I love Boohoo
For my first post I wanted to wear something I love, so I went immediately to my Gwen Wrap Front Trench Coat that I often times wear as a top, dress, or anything I can really think of other then a coat. I'm also obsessed, maybe a little too obsessed, with the Madison Ponte Skort. I wear them all over the place. I'm starting a petition for more skorts in 2015. My mom had the right idea when she made me wear them in Kindergarden, my look was on point and I could still hang upside down from the monkey bars. Thanks Mom ++

Welcome to The B Word!

Okay what is The B Word?

Like the way I dress, it can change everyday. I wanted to create a space where I could express myself and hopefully, fingers and toes crossed, inspire someone to be 100% who they want to be. I have never been a small girl, standing 6’0 tall without heels, and I refuse to apologize for the space I take up in the world. So cheers to The B Word’s journey, whatever that may be and to all my other female crusaders who refuse to be defined by a size, shape and one ideal beauty.

We run this ++
